Initially the MVP aims to provide the option of contacting the supplier of a product or service, initially it will not incorporate a payment gateway.
The focus is to land a business idea, and to make the experience tangible, therefore there is no brand yet, so the scope of this project seeks to make a high fidelity Wireframe.
This plan covers the experience of both the end consumer and the company adding its products/services; either from the consumer side, the search for a product/service, onboarding and interaction, or from the company side, the onboarding, back-office management, and the process of adding products/services.
The opportunities that were found within the project was to target a millennial segment that does not have technical knowledge or contacts associated with the area of construction, land acquisition or associated services (transport, electricity, security, etc.), which seeks to optimise their time and automate processes in order to remove difficulty or friction from the process of buying land, construction, or expansion of a house.
Focused on satisfying two different kinds of requirements. On the one hand, users who are clear about what they are looking for can access a main search engine, allowing them to quickly locate what they need, with the ability to filter according to aspects such as subcategory, location, rating, and more. On the other hand, those users who wish to browse by discovering content by categories such as products, services, terrains, recent reviews from other users, among others, the aim is to provide a vertical tour through all these sections, similar to how Netflix or online content sites implement it by handling a wide range of content categories, simplifying the presentation of information with navigation patterns already familiar to the product's target segment, which are young adult millennials. Also, when entering the details of a product or service, the focus is on always leaving the contact CTA visible, opting to leave this component fixed independently of the scroll that the user makes to facilitate the main action.
When designing the account creation process to communicate the value that this platform brings to both individuals and businesses, I designed a component that uses elements such as timelines, similar to Instagram stories, where the content rotates highlighting the different advantages of having an account. In addition, I validated the technical feasibility with the development team the possibility of implementing a registration process through Google to reduce friction, as this option is quite accessible and familiar to users. When new users register their account in the onboarding process, certain product features tailored to their profile are highlighted to reaffirm the value provided by the creation of an account.
Menu of persons and companies
Once logged in, different information is displayed depending on the user profile:
Peoople: Focuses on displaying saved products, reviews and contacts the user has made to purchase products from companies.
Companies: It contains sections such as creating publications, notifications, activities where you can see a general summary and see in detail every interaction that users have had with your products, profile information, publications to manage the publications created with display options in list or grid and account settings.
Creation of publication
When the administrator (company) wants to publish a product or service post, the process aims to be simple and focused on three simple steps, the first one is to enter the general information that includes the category name and location, to add multimedia files such as photos or videos and finally publication details such as a detailed description, payment method and another essential aspect that I could notice thanks to the benchmark of the competition within the category of construction products or other services, is a technical sheet, where here the user can customise the data you want to add to incorporate details such as sizes, weights, materials, etc.. This seeks to make the experience of uploading products or services as simple as possible for the administrator of an account.
